Annual inflation figures confirmed

The annual increases in the Retail Prices Index (RPI) and the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) for the 12 months to 30 September 2025 were:
 
RPI – 4.5%
 
CPI – 3.8%
 
These figures will be used to calculate the pension increase due on 1 January 2026.
